How to easily potty train your child in 2 or 3 days?

potty training your childOk everyone, if you’re thinking about potty training your child, your probably scared and worried it will be a total nightmare.

Most of the times that is very true, but if you’re 100% prepared, you’ll toilet train your child quickly and easily. Let me explain this in more detail.

Here’s how I used this course I found by Carol Cline Potty Training in 3 DAYS. Yes it’s a paid course but it was literally one the best investments I ever made when it comes to parenting and my little boy.

I believe the secret in potty training boys, I have a 2 year old son, Jason, and I believe this also works for girls, is to have everything set up and ready to go. This is also what Carol teaches in her guide.

It took me 2 and half days to teach Jason how to use the potty successfully. And this is without all the problems you usually hear about when parents talk about toilet training.

Like I said, in order for the three days of toilet training to be successful you need to plan everything ahead of time.

For us the first thing on our list was choosing between a potty chair or a potty seat. We ended up getting a ladder potty seat, which I believe is one of the best potty seat you can get, especially if your child isn’t very tall when you’re starting the training.

Ok, moving on, we thought about what made Jason really motivated to do something. What was that one thing we could use to bribe him into doing anything, including using the potty seat.

Rewards are probably one of the most crucial and at the same time ignored parts of potty training. He was always attracted to soldiers and military stuff so we bought some stickers and used them like medals you see officers have on their uniform.

It was a hit right from the beginning.

We had some minor accidents on day 1, but we minimized the impact as much as we could, by praising him a lot for everything he did right.

Day 2, no accidents, he even used the potty by himself once. Me and my wife could see the results starting to show.

Now, you may think that after these initial days you won’t have to work with your child on pooping and peeing in the potty. Many parents don’t understand that this is just a transfer phase from diapers to potty, potty training is not finished, not by a long shot. It’s just the hard part that’s over with.

Anyway, make sure you have everything prepared for the 3 days. And be prepared to dedicate every minute of those days to doing activities with your child, monitoring him, watching his queues for when he needs to use the potty.
